“Everything has a heart and the heart of QURAN is Surah Yaseen” (Hadith)
Importance of Surah Yaseen:
The reason behind this is that the Quran focuses a lot on Aqeedah (belief).
The core of Aqeedah is three things:
i) Tawheed (Oneness of ALLAH)
ii) Risaalah (Prophet hood)
iii) Aakhirah (Hereafter)
Surah Yaseen explains these three topics very beautifully, making it the heart of the Quran.
Facts about Surah Yaseen:
i) It is the 36th Surah of the Quran.
ii) There as 83 verses.
iii) The meaning of the word “Yaseen,” is unknown. Although many meanings have been suggested, it is Allah who knows best.
iv) It warns those who refuse to believe in God and mock God.
v) It was revealed in Mecca.
vi) It emphasizes the Quran as coming from a divine source.
Benefits and Rewards of Reciting of Surah Yaseen:
i) Reading it when you wake up may invoke ALLAH to fulfill all your needs for that day.
ii) It's the equivalent of reading the whole Quran 10 times.
