They were the lazy person’s ultimate tool of luxury; they allowed you to move all around while just standing on them. Two wheels with a standing area and handle bars to control their direction, it was really that simple and they became popular worldwide. They were shown in movies to TV shows and were really the ultimate must-have item. No one really thought that another modern adult version of cool awesome machine could reach the Segway’s level of popularity and for the best part of 14 years that seemed to be the case.
